A Dress for New Orleans
July 17th, 2008 § 6 Comments
I’ve oohed and aahed over (the gorgeous and impeccably dressed) Effie’s blog many a time — and have just as frequently oohed and aahed over something in her eBay and Etsy stores. But it wasn’t until I saw her wearing a particular dress, standing next to a blue car, that I finally gave in and forked over the cash. This dress happens to not only fit me, but is also perfect for my upcoming trip to New Orleans with Chris. It won’t be the first time for either of us; Chris was born and raised there and I’ve been there maybe ten times, but we’ll still have lots of things to see and do, including having a fancypants dinner at New Orleans’ culinary institution Commander’s Palace and getting 40′s dance lessons at the D-Day museum. I can’t wait to learn how to do the jitterbug. Anyway, I am definitely bringing this beautiful dress on my trip and it will be seeing a lot of action. Thanks so much, Effie!
