102. photoshoot

Chris and I are getting ready for a day of wedding preparations, including that photoshoot that I mentioned earlier — and to be honest, I’m much more excited about his outfit than I am about mine – ha! (This is what happens when you “pack light” on a trip home, I suppose.) I’d bought a gray wool dress from the 40s to wear to the shoot, but wound up feeling not-so-pleased with the length for the purposes of this occasion, so I threw together some basic black pieces from the torn shopping bag I used to bring home some clothes in, as well as a skirt I rediscovered in my childhood bedroom. I’m also squeezing my feet into some bitsome white flats that I’m borrowing from my mom’s closet; my mom has size 6 feet (I wear a 7.5/8). But I am wearing my favorite necklace, and some nifty orange tights. You’ll undoubtedly get to see the fruits of the shoot later. I’m terribly excited.

Hope you’re having a great weekend!
