I really loved Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s The Thing Around Your Neck collection. Each one a jewel! And I’ve been in a D.H. Lawrence sort of mood, peering in on squabbling English couples, enjoying his little extravagances…What are your recent favorites? As for the writing of fabulous short stories, now that teaching is back in full-swing, I am amid the “mustering up the muse” grumblings. I’ll snap out of it–prose will flow like wine very soon…right? How is the novel coming?
